A pre-Bond Pierce Brosnan stars as a scientist experimenting with mind-blowing computer programmes. But, when a lab chimp goes mad after being subjected to his tests, Brosnan (unwisely) plucks a child-like gardener (Jeff Fahey) from lawnmowing duties to provide him with his first human subject. However, Fahey rapidly rises into the ranks of superbrains --- with catastrophic results. This formula sci-fi chiller is all pretty ludicrous but, with eye-popping computer graphics, it's entertaining just the same.
