Former MI6 agent Harry Anders (Michael Caine in a Harry Palmer type character 25 years on) just wants a quiet life running a backstreets London jazz club. The trouble with Harry is that intrigue and murder dog his every move. When beautiful American Stacy (Sean Young) prangs his prize car, Harry finds himself plunged back into the world of espionage. It's a shallow thriller, but with a stylish feel, thanks to the stunning visuals conjured up by Highlander director Russell Mulcahy. It was co-produced by Caine in an attempt to breathe some life into a then-stagnant British film industry. Silly dialogue, though, finally sinks it.
