Embeth Davidtz

Where: Trenton, New Jersey
Embeth was born in the States but moved to South Africa as a young child. After completing a degree at Rhodes University she then joined the National Theatre Company where she starred in Romeo and Juliet.
Small parts in NBC TV movies kickstarted Embeth's career as soon as she moved to Los Angeles.
In 1993 She caught critics' attention as the Jewish maid who suffered abuse at the hands of the Nazis in Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List.
Murder in the First opposite Kevin Bacon; Matilda and Miramax's Mansfield Park, were all successful and led to roles alongside Robin Williams in Bicentennial Man and as snooty Natasha in the huge box office Smash Hit, Bridget Jones's Diary in 2001.
