A familiar story of an innocent trying to make it big career-wise in New York and juggle a love affair. This time it's a pretty young ballerina who has to take a job in a Broadway chorus line to make ends meet. And, indeed, the best thing about this 'woman's picture', with its sugar-sweet coating, are the song and dance sequences in which star Marguerite Hickey is joined by Shanna Reed (who was such a hit in Legs - the film about the famous Rockettes dancers). Timothy Daly, who plays Hickey's journalist boyfriend, is the brother of actress Tyne Daly, of 'Cagney and Lacey' fame.
