This is Honeymoon in Vegas without the laughs.
Another couple heavily in debt: another billionaire with an eye for the wife. Here the twist is that the rich man (Robert Redford) offers the poor man (Woody Harrelson) a million dollars for one night with his wife (Demi Moore).
Just about believable, perhaps, in Hollywood's world, and the couple vow to agree and forget it ever happened. No problems huh?
Well, soon this totally devoted couple is at each other's throats, he yelling that he doesn't trust her anymore, and suspecting she's been sleeping with Redford all the time.
Convincing? Well, hang on to the edge of that credibility chasm: worse is to follow. The casting, however, sustains you through the rest.
Redford turns on the charm, Moore walks around showing off her formidable bust, and Harrelson looks crestfallen and morose even when he's not supposed to be.
Two of them end up together but you wouldn't give a plugged nickel for the relationship's survival.
Hollywood tripe, this, glossily dished up. The 34 Flying Elvises from Honeymoon in Vegas are sadly missed.
