Michael Biehn - the saviour of the human race from The Terminator - turns in a cool study of menace in this roustabout made-for-TV action-thriller. He kills the foul-mouthed boss of an oil rig where two pre-law students (played by Jason Bateman and Henry Thomas) are working for the summer. The problem is, Biehn makes it look like the lads are the killers and we're into blackmail territory. There's a genuine naturalistic feel to the action but it's definitely Biehn's show.
