Set in an odd America, this is one of those films where little is likely to end up being what it seemed. Given that Nicole Kidman collects $20million for surgeon Alec Baldwin cutting out a healthy ovary and walks out on husband Bill Pullman for letting Baldwin do it, it won't take thriller fans long to figure that something's afoot. Well-made and enjoyable rubbish, this, if a touch on the unpleasant side.
