A beautiful woman (Nicollette Sheridan) is left holding a smoking gun. She has murdered her husband - shot after he broke in to their mansion home and attacked her, pretending to be a burglar. Things don't add up for Detective Gentry (an unshaven Harry Hamlin) and his partner Kessler (former James Bond baddie Robert Davi), so Gentry gets intimately involved with the suspect - cue lots of arty semi-clad soft-porn poses of the two stars. This dreary, badly acted attempt at a modern-day film noir has Sheridan parading in little more than a succession of swimsuits that relegate her performance to a screen test for Baywatch. The script isn't up to much and, in truth, the actors only deliver what it's worth.
