Anna Chancellor
Born: April 27 1965
Where: UK
Chancellor came to the attention of audiences as Henrietta aka Duckface in Richard Curtis's smash Four Weddings and a Funeral.
She trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art but left aged 21 because she was pregnant with her daughter Poppy.
Born of a prestigious family (she is related to former Prime Minister HH Asquith), she made her big screen debut as a barmaid in Killing Dad.
However, it was Four Weddings which raised her profile and she subsequently won roles in films including Staggered and Princess Caraboo.
Equally at home on television, she also appeared in Pride and Prejudice, Cold Lazarus, Longtitude, Kavanagh QC and Morse.
Specialising in haughty aristocrats, recent big screen roles have included Nicolas Farmer in Heart and Molly in the underrated Crush.
She caused some controversy for her part of a lesbian free spirit in TV's Tipping The Velvet and reprised her rich bitch role in What A Girl Wants.
