With hundreds of criminals awaiting execution on Death Row, American TV approaches the subject through the case of a Puerto Rican boy who murdered two youths in a gang fight. Writer Edward Adler raises both pro and anti capital punishment sentiments, but his sympathies clearly lie with those of the liberal social worker (Colleen Dewhurst) who fights through the courts on the boy's behalf.
