Director Val Guest, who also wrote the screenplay, has a useful formula for an action film in this fierce thriller: take a cache of hidden diamonds, throw in a gang of mercenaries, led by Peter Fonda, spice with a fistful of exciting action sequences and add Telly Savalas (as a rugged security officer) for the catalyst. Light the blue touch paper and stand by for fireworks.
