Silly but fresh and original sex comedy from the unexpected hand of Sidney Lumet, usually associated with heavier stuff, such as Network, Dog Day Afternoon, Prince of the City and The Verdict. American TV comedian Alan King gets another of his sporadic film chances as the mogul with a string of increasingly rebellious mistresses. Myrna Loy is delightful as his secretary, even if at times she looks a trifle bemused at the racy dialogue flying around her. It wasn't like that in her heyday.
