Dyan Cannon stars in the real-life story of Sally Stanford, a flamboyant San Francisco `madam' who for a time was Mayor of Sausalito. The film traces her life from childhood, through the Thirties and Forties when she ran an opulent bordello in posh Nob Hill, to her political career as Councilwoman and to her election as Madam Mayor.
