In this western, the title refers to two half-sisters. One is Kate Lacy, a gun-toting crack shot, adept horsewoman and deadly efficient at wielding a bullwhip. The other is Queenie, a gambler whose haunts are the Mississippi riverboats. When they first meet up, they don't get on at all well. But that changes. And they set out on a trek of the old west in search of their father's murderers. When they catch up with their quarry in Denver, the girls devise an ingenious plot to frame the killers. One of the screen's best `baddies' - Jack Elam - has a featured role.
