Overburdened with flashbacks and complicated plotting, this is nonetheless a stylish sequel to the 1971 telemovie about the Chinese-American Shaolin priest and martial arts master. David Carradine rather wearily reprises the role of this laconic fighting mystic while Bruce Lee's son Brandon, in his acting debut, plays a hypnotised assassin. There may be a touch too much slow-motion in the fight scenes for some tastes.
