The `shoes' of the title might well apply to this loose series of satirical vignettes somewhat after the style of Kentucky Fried Movie, mocking the selling of movies by creating fake trailers for imaginary films. Bill Murray, Buddy Hackett and Ed Lauter head the zany goings on, much in the successful formula established by such satirists as Dan Ackroyd, John Belushi and Chevy Chase on American television.
