Edward G Robinson is on the right side of the law this time in the story of a crusading law professor who sets out to expose racketeers operating in his city. Surprisingly from Columbia rather than Robinson's home studio, Warners, the plot is familiar stuff, but smoothly done and plausibly written by the prolific Jo Swerling. Has to be worth a look if only to watch the rare sight of Edward G jigging around on the dance floor!
