After 12 years of Hollywood stardom, Rod Taylor reverted to his native Australian accent in this ill-conceived thriller about a detective trying to foil an assassination bid. You'll spot Franchot Tone in his last film and, maybe, Leo McKern (unbilled) as the Premier of New South Wales. The best performance comes from the ever-reliable Lilli Palmer, but somehow the whole enterprise lacks zest.
