Offbeat drama about a Vietnam veteran who returns to his home town in America to find that it has apparently disappeared. Martin Landau gives it all he's got as the haunted army captain and, although Jane Alexander is unusually ineffective as the nurse who loves him, there's good support from Forrest Tucker, Martin Sheen, Pat O'Brien and Mona Freeman.
