The only horror film of the Seventies to unite those masters of menace, Vincent Price, Peter Cushing and Robert (Count Yorga) Quarry. Despite the presence of the other two, however, the film is specifically devoted to the particular talents of Vincent Price. Cushing and Adrienne Corri (the latter as a demented and disfigured crone brooding over a colony of spiders in her basement) also have a splendid time in this vivid tale of an actor's revenge.
