In her last starring role to date, the great Katharine Hepburn (the only person on this planet to win four acting Oscars) is on fine feisty form as a ageing actress recluse who is reintroduced to a former lover she hasn't seen since they were in a film together, 50 years ago. In a spooky reincarnation perhaps of her real-life tempestuous love affair with Spencer Tracy, Anthony Quinn plays the man from her past who's on a mission... Made by Britain's Anthony Harvey, the man who directed Hepburn to one of her Oscars in The Lion in Winter.
