The big attraction in this above average TV movie is seeing James Woods play a romantic lead role for once. No gun in sight. No manic expressions. No sudden bursts of anger or rage. No psychotic behaviour. A regular kind of guy, in fact. He's Paul Moore, a widower of less than a year who unexpectedly discovers love second time around in the shape of former tennis player Mary Cole (Anne Archer) with 'a Katharine Hepburn air of elegance'. But she has her hands full coping with his disapproving children and making his home, indelibly stamped with the personality of his first wife, Jane, her own. A bittersweet romantic drama that's as fresh as morning dew.
