A high-class hooker and an ex-con team up to track down the man who took off with her life savings in this amusing if not terribly original made-for-TV comedy drama. Of course, it isn't long before they are both up to their necks in trouble when (inevitably in this kind of caper) the Mob becomes involved. JoBeth Williams and Anthony John Denison have fun in the starring roles and make this an undemanding but enjoyable movie. Robert Forster, not so long ago an Oscar nominee for Jackie Brown, tops the supporting cast.
