Jason Robards gives a powerful performance as the ailing President Roosevelt, grimly refusing to allow debilitating ill health to stop him help bring World War Two to a close. This worthy and watchable historical drama concentrates as much on the man's personal struggles as his political ones. Absorbing stuff.
