Award-winning film documentarist Bill Couturie, who gave us the touching Dear America, has gone right over the top here with this manipulative look at man's inhumanity to the environment. One-sided to the point of contempt, this is overly didactic tract whose main interest to the film fan will be trying to identify the famous voices who narrate, sometimes for just a few sentences or so. Well-made, though, with an equal divide of beauty and devastation, the film may appeal to those already susceptible to its cause.
