Another well-meaning but overwrought and deeply unpleasant real-life TV movie drama about an abused woman. This time it's a rural Oklahoma wife (Maria Pitillo, later to play the heroine in Godzilla) who finds herself under threat from an unhinged, abusive drug-addicted husband (Adam Storke) - even after they get a divorce. They don't half pile on the agony in this difficult-to-watch telefilm with exaggerated performances that fail to convince and a message that seems all too simple - beware handsome charmers!
