Another offbeat role for Christopher Reeve, here as a Catholic priest who places himself in deadly danger after he hears the confession of a serial killer and decides to play detective. Director Bradford May juggles cleverly with our natural assumptions, consistently confounding us almost to the end. Reeve and a little-known cast do well in this made-for-cable TV thriller.
