It's certainly fascinating to see the well-loved cartoons of our childhood spring so colourfully to life. Sets, costumes and special effects are fabulous as the town of Bedrock 2,000,000 BC is amusingly realised. The humour of the original cartoons is charmingly recaptured, with visual puns galore, plenty of wisecracks and rib-tickling antics from John Goodman, who was born to yell 'Yabba Dabba Doo! ' Though the skeletal story rather lets things down, this is still enjoyable fun for both adults and kids.
