John Lithgow earned an Emmy nomination for his portrayal of twin brothers in this fact-based TV movie set in a small town on the US East Coast. When one twin, a schoolteacher, is diagnosed as HIV-positive, his sibling offers to donate bone marrow, but the insurance company refuses to finance the operation, leading to a court battle. In many ways, this is a conventional 'problem' TV movie, but it's carefully made and involving and doesn't always go in the direction you might expect. Ellen Burstyn co-stars.
