Oliver Parker

Oliver Parker is a director and writer who has taken three English literature classics and turned them into successful movies.

The film version of Othello in 1995 starred Laurence Fishburne and Kenneth Branagh, and Parker's An Ideal Husband in 1999, was a huge hit and brought him acclaim along with his all-star cast, including Cate Blanchett, Minnie Driver, Rupert Everett and Julianne Moore.
