This psychological thriller only just holds the attention, despite the best efforts of stars James Belushi and Linda Hamilton. Considering she's a psychology professor (with a split personality) and he's an ex-cop-turned-psychology student, they prove remarkably slow on the uptake, as they work out a mystery that involves a long-ago double murder and the 'separate life' in which Hamilton thinks that she, while possessed by her other self, may have killed someone. Lacklustre direction makes this a strictly by-the-numbers piece.
