American couple Sam Behrens and Susanna Thompson and their two kids are saved by dolphins when their boat sinks during a Caribbean storm in the Bermuda Triangle. But survivors from many eras and disasters are already there in the '27th dimension' and they can't escape... A nifty little mystery adventure thriller, with decent acting and some clever ideas -- but a low budget and the script's inability to wind the yarn up satisfyingly set it back a bit. The writers also penned 1988's Cocoon: The Return.
