In 1993, TV movies dipped their fingers sleazily into headline-hitting crime when they made three versions of the sensational New England case in which teenager Amy Fisher turned up at her much-older lover's front door and shot his wife in the head. This version is well acted by Alyssa Milano and Jack Scalia, but overlong. Told from the point of view of the older couple, the film would still have looked better as an hour-long TV documentary.
