This suspenseful thriller marked Jeff Fahey's second stab at playing a police sketch artist who becomes rather too involved with clients' cases. This time he manages to build nice chemistry with his co-star, Courteney Cox, from TV's Friends, as a blind rape victim who is able to give him a description of her attacker after feeling his features during the attack. The script is a fairly lively affair with several imaginative touches, but it also tends to lurch from scene to scene, with scriptwriter Michael Angeli having to dig himself out of holes of his own making on at least two occasions. But these are small quibbles that viewers caught up in the tense storyline will be willing to let go without comment. US title: Sketch Artist II: Hands That See.
