Natasha Henstridge

Born: 15th August 1974
Where: Newfoundland, Canada

The former model made a striking feature debut when she won out over 800 other hopefuls to land the part of Sil in the sci-fi thriller Species.

Career highlights have included Bounce with Ben Affleck, the crime comedy The Whole Nine Yards with Bruce Willis and the sci-fi chiller The Ghost of Mars.

Henstridge appeared on the cover of the French edition of Cosmopolitan aged 15 before being featured in TV commercials, including Oil of Olay).

After Species, in which she played the beautiful but deadly produce of alien and human DNA, she has parts in the forgettable Maximum Risk and Adrenaline: Fear The Rush.

Henstridge went on to co-star with Robert Sean Leonard in StandOff, a drama inspired by recent FBI/militia stand-offs and played a clone of the alien in the inevitable sequel Species II.

Next she landed the role of Bruce Willis' wife Cynthia Tudeski in the crime caper The Whole Nine Yards (which she reprised in The Whole Ten Yards).

Although several of her features ended up running on cable, Henstridge did enjoy a pivotal supporting role in Bounce.

She was the attractive woman who causes Ben Affleck to switch plane tickets with another man who is then killed when the flight crashes.

The actress then undertook perhaps her most challenging role to date replacing an injured Courtney Love just before shooting began on the sci-fi thriller Ghosts of Mars.

In 2002, Henstridge had the forgettable part of a police officer in the lacklustre hesit caper Steal with Stephen Dorff.
