This directorial debut for actor Kevin Bacon has an award-winning performance from Helen Mirren as a woman recovering from depression. And that's the good news over with. As a made-for-cable film this just about passes, but Bacon fails to get to grips with the meandering script which plunges all over Martha's Vineyard, the setting for Mirren's recovery.
