The girls at the central slumber party in this girl-buddy film are certainly very much alive. But they're unfortunately not very interesting. Talk not action is the order of the day as the friends, headed by Kim Cattrall, Lora Zane, Dana Delany and Olivia d'Abo, bitch, gossip, advance the battle of the sexes and solve the world's and their own problems. The characters and their dilemmas have a familiar flavour, not enhanced by the poor production values, more suited to a TV sitcom than a cinema feature film.
