This intense drama is a sort of combination of Fatal Attraction and Strangers on a Train, with Theresa Russell at her most dangerous as the femme fatale who seduces struggling businessman Adam Baldwin, then reveals her plan for 'swap' murders - his wife for her husband. Very dark stuff: the sensuous Russell is well matched with the monolithic Baldwin, who is no relation to the four acting Baldwin brothers, Alec, Daniel, Stephen and William.
