This rather silly comic crime thriller about a TV reporter (Robert Hays) who becomes the victim of two blackmailers (Pamela Stephenson and John Gielgud) doesn't make a lot of sense and isn't as engagingly scatty as it could have been. The best reason for watching it is the sight of Gielgud having a thoroughly good time going through a series of daft disguises. As a Japanese businessman he's a hoot but as a punk rock fan... ? Worth watching just for that (and only that). Just one question: what possessed one of our finest actors to do this?
