Before Pierce Brosnan became a first-rate Bond, he was a second-rate Bond type in this fast-moving but cliche-ridden and derivative espionage thriller. He's a United Nations anti-crime agent on the trail of the man who stole Rembrandt's famous masterpiece The Night Watch. This trail leads him and his partner (Alexandra Paul) to North Korea and Hong Kong where things get a bit mixed up. Reasonable action fare if you don't think about it too much, but the chances are you will have seen this kind of thing before and done better, too.
