An angel (Billy Crystal) is challenged by God (Nancy Walker! ) to find six clean-living people in Las Vegas or she will destroy the town. That's the basic premise of this daft fantasy comedy that works well for most of the time. Only an eager beaver like our angelic hero would take on such a seemingly impossible task. Crystal gives his role plenty of verve and indeed it's his performance that keeps this tale afloat. Having said that, Walker is rather fun as God (interesting casting, that) and look out for Armand Assante and Pat (Karate Kid) Morita.
