Christopher Lambert plays a businessman on the run in Japan after seeing a woman with whom he has just had a passionate fling killed by ninjas. This action drama is fast, explosive and has a high body count, but it is also cliché-ridden and little better made than the martial arts films of the Seventies that influence it. The script is pretty poor, too: give us the similar Red Corner (or a Jackie Chan movie) any day. In the end, it's just typical cowboys and ninjas stuff.
