A cartoon for the kids with a love story as the theme. A shy penguin wants to go round the world to fetch a special pebble for the one he loves before the pebble festival finishes (no, really! ), but he has to outsmart a rival to get to it first. Martin Short voices Hubie the penguin, with Tim Curry as the baddie. From ex-Disney director Don Bluth, this animated tale smacks of being cobbled together in too great a hurry and unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired.
