The irritating Pauly Shore plays Bones Conway, who joins the army with his pal Jack (Andy Dick), in this tedious, idiotic services comedy which, with a few jokes added, might have suited Jerry Lewis in his prime.
In a dodgy plot, though this was 1994, the duo and their crazy little band are eventually cut off behind enemy lines, battling comic Libyan troops.
Mmmmm. Shore and Dick remain charmless throughout, but then the laugh-free, unbelievable script is doing them no favours.
Brendan Fraser must be glad he appears uncredited as Link, the same character he played in 1992's California Man with Shore.
