A fascinating documentary that takes an offbeat look at the sights, sounds and architecture of London in an eventful year (1992) that includes a backdrop of IRA bomb attacks, the General Election and the massive October march in support of the miners. Paul Scofield provides a fruity-sounding, dry comic commentary to the dazzling visuals. The music heavily featured throughout is taken from Beethoven's String Quartet No 15 Op132. Quite an eye-opener on a bustling capital city and the people who live there.
