Saeed Jaffrey features in this typically overblown Indian epic vehicle for superstar Amitabh Bachchan, this one focusing on the popular themes of corruption and justice. The central character, a policeman who is even willing to sacrifice his own marriage plans when his fiancee helps her corrupt father evade justice, is so upright and honest that he'd pass the Daz wash test. Needless to say, the villains are painted blacker than night, and truth will out by the final reel.
