Frank Langella, who was to win stage and film fame as Dracula, is uneasily cast as the dashing righter of wrongs in 1820s California. This TV movie had the nerve to pinch the music from the superior 1940 original with Tyrone Power and Basil Rathbone and is a routine affair, despite vigorous support from adventure veterans Ricardo Montalban and Yvonne De Carlo.
