Sandro Monetti reports from LA on the latest with Hugh Grant...Wisecracking Hugh Grant appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show in America yesterday and turned in a typically hilarious, tongue in cheek interview.
Here are some of his best lines from the show...
On reuniting with his old castmates for Bridget Jones 2:
"Poor Colin Firth now looks a bit old for the role - but they've wheeled him out again."
"Renee didn't look quite fat enough until a week before filming and then she went completely nuts.

His feelings on new film Love Actually:
"It's quite girly for me. At the preview screening I attended, I thought the guys watching this are going to throw up. Instead they liked it more than the girls. Maybe we just had a strange audience."
Reflecting on a previous film he made with Emma Thompson, costume drama Impromptu:
"It was so low budget, we all had to share the same wig."
On the kind of girls he likes:
"The kind who are susceptible to fame and money. Nice trashy girls have always been my type."
On his relationship to Elizabeth Hurley's son:
"I'm one of the 16,000 godfathers to young Damian."
His feelings on acting:
"I loathe the acting process with every fibre of my body. It is unmitigated torture."
But Hugh did get serious when Oprah asked him about recent remarks that he was planning to quit acting.
Hugh replied: "Everyone told me it was a big mistake to say that. You shouldn't take me seriously. I'm here for the duration."
