This must have seemed more interesting at the planning stage than it finally turned out. Yet another of these true-life dramas much beloved of American TV movie makers, it features an impassioned performance by Beverly D'Angelo as the ex-jailbird who becomes a crusader for justice when she finds out the baby she gave up for adoption died mysteriously at the age of three. Good support from Will Patton, but the seemingly emotive item somehow never catches fire.
