Intense and harrowing psychological drama, with Peter Greene as a schizophrenic escaped from a mental institution searching for his daughter. Too extreme for comfort or enjoyment, its purpose seems obscure and there's faltering handling from debut director Lodge H Kerrigan, who seems to be trying too hard to impress. Its redeeming feature is Greene's wholly believable turn in the most difficult of circumstances.
